When I began working at the NCMSF, Wanda and John Price were so welcoming to me. I knew nothing about NCORH or the recruitment activities of the office. Wanda taught me about how our activities worked together and began working with me to integrate and report our activities together. When I attended the NCAFP meetings in Asheville, I would see Wanda talking to perspective candidates, she had such a warm engaging manner and nurtured them as well. Her light will continue to shine in NC because of the communities she served and the people placed in those communities because of her dedication.
